MCR Radiologists Adam Specht, MD, FACR and Peter Van Geertruyden, MD, FACR attended the 2024 American College of Radiology (ACR) Annual Meeting as councilor representatives for the Virginia Radiological Society (VRS). They were joined by Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) Radiology Residents Michael Pender, MD, Shri Chitta, MD, and Zaydi Javeed, MD. Together, they enjoyed engaging with radiologists from all over the country to discuss best practices and pressing issues including workforce shortages. The meeting culminated with a visit to lawmakers on Capitol Hill to advocate for the specialty of Radiology.
