MCR participates in Unveiling of Sentara Mobile 3D Mammography Van

MCR Breast Section Chief John Plemmons, MD and other MCR representatives were on hand February 10, 2023 for the ribbon cutting ceremony of a new Sentara Mobile 3D Mammography Van, which will help bring the latest 3D digital mammographic technology to remote and underserved communities of southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. Dr.Plemmons, who also serves as Medical Director at the McLeskey Comprehensive Breast Center at the Sentara Brock Cancer Center, delivered remarks emphasizing the importance of early detection and making 3D mammography available and convenient for all patients we serve.
