Congratulations to MCR Radiologist John Plemmons, MD for being inducted as an alumni member of the Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) Honor Society! Founded in 1902, AΩA is the national medical honor society dedicated to the belief that in the profession of medicine we will improve care by recognizing high educational achievement, honoring gifted teaching, encouraging the development of leaders in academia and the community, supporting the ideals of humanism, and promoting service to others. A highly regarded Breast Radiologist, Dr. Plemmons is the Director of the EVMS Breast Imaging Fellowship and the Medical Director at the McLeskey Comprehensive Breast Center at the Sentara Brock Cancer Center.
