Anita Kelekar, MD

Dr. Kelekar is a board-certified general diagnostic radiologist. She has completed her medical school and medical doctorate in Diagnostic Radiology from India; she is also a Diplomate of the National Board of Radiology. In the United States, Dr. Kelekar completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at the John H Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois. She was the Chief Resident during the last two years of her residency. Upon completion of Residency, Dr. Kelekar joined the hospital as an attending Radiologist and rose to the position of Divisional Chair of Ultrasound. Dr. Kelekar has chaired several committees and also taught and mentored medical students and residents. Dr. Kelekar joined the MCR team in 2022.

Outside of work, Dr. Kelekar enjoys cooking for family and friends and volunteering at non-profit organizations. Dr. Kelekar has a loving husband and two sons.
