Bennie Skinner, MD Body Radiologist
Born and raised in the Tidewater area of Virginia, Dr. Skinner graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Biology . After working as a Department of Radiology orderly after college, he decided to go to medical school to become a Radiologist.
Dr. Skinner completed medical school and a diagnostic radiology residency at the Medical College of Virginia – Virginia Commonwealth University. He remained at MCV for a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging.
Dr. Skinner chose a career in Radiology because diagnosis is the key to providing the best patient care and Radiology is often the key to provide the correct diagnosis.
When not working, Dr. Skinner enjoys outdoor activities and travel. He has been married since 1994 and has three children and a dog.
