Dina Elgohary, MDMusculoskeletal Radiology
Dr. Elgohary was born and raised in Egypt. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Maryland graduating Summa Cum Laude. Subsequently, she completed her medical education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine where she received membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Her attention to detail and love of anatomy led her to a career in diagnostic radiology. After completing her radiology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School where she served as a chief resident, Dr. Elgohary completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Duke University School of Medicine. Her love for the area led her to come back and join Medical Center Radiologists.
Dr. Elgohary has a special interest in all aspects of adult and pediatric musculoskeletal radiology. She specializes in fluoroscopy and ultrasound guided joint procedures. She also enjoys teaching and is currently the residency curriculum chief for MSK and fluoroscopy.
Outside of work, Dr. Elgohary loves spending time with her husband and twin boys. She enjoys audiobooks, traveling, trying different restaurants, watching and playing tennis. Dr. Elgohary is also involved in the youth ministry at her church and loves spending time with the rest of her family and her local friends.
