Jaspreet Hira, MD

Dr. Hira is a fellowship trained radiologist specializing in abdominal imaging with an emphasis on abdominal CT, MRI, and image-guided interventional body procedures. She completed additional training in breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, and image-guided interventional breast procedures. Her specific areas of interest include female pelvic imaging, oncologic imaging, and radiology education.

Originally from northern Virginia, Dr. Hira attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate education. She then attended Virginia Tech Carilion for medical school followed by diagnostic radiology residency at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Hira returned to the University of Virginia to complete her fellowship training. Outside of work, Dr. Hira enjoys reading, cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family. She currently lives in Virginia Beach.
