Sarah Bumps, MD, MBABreast Imaging
A recipient of the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP), Dr. Bumps graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Commissioned as a United States Navy Medical Corps Officer, Dr. Bumps completed a general surgery internship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth followed by a general medical officer tour on the USS Iwo Jima. After a tour of duty in the Persian Gulf, Dr. Bumps returned to Naval Medical Center Portsmouth to complete her diagnostic radiology residency. Dr. Bumps then served for three years as Chief of the Department of Radiology at US Naval Hospital Guam. After finishing her military commitment in 2022, Dr. Bumps completed a Breast Imaging Fellowship at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Dr. Bumps lives with her family in Norfolk.
