Shashidhara Murthy, MD, is an interventional radiologist renowned for his expertise in minimally invasive procedures. His training at Eastern Virginia Medical School and fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai have equipped him with advanced skills that he brings to MCR’s patients. His participation in the MCR PAE event highlighted his commitment to both clinical excellence and community engagement.
Joining him was Adam Lustig, MD, Interventional Radiology Section Chief at MCR and Medical Director of Interventional Radiology at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Dr. Lustig’s experience in minimally invasive treatments, including PAE, positions him as a leading expert in men’s health interventional radiology. During the MCR PAE event, he shared how PAE can relieve urinary symptoms from benign prostatic hyperplasia with minimal downtime compared to traditional surgery.
