Meet Dr. Adaeze Chikwem
Dr. Adaeze Chikwem is an American Board of Radiology Certified Diagnostic Radiologist with a subspecialty expertise in Pediatric Radiology. She is originally from the Philadelphia area; she completed medical school and residency training at Temple University, as well her fellowship training in pediatric radiology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. After completing pediatric fellowship training, she relocated to Tampa, Florida where she worked as a pediatric and general radiologist for 4 years. She then moved to Norfolk, Virginia to join the MCR team.
Interacting with young patients and their families is a rewarding aspect of her job as a pediatric radiologist. She also strives to closely interact and communicate with clinicians of all subspecialties for a comprehensive and coordinated approach to pediatric patient care.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Chikwem enjoys traveling, running, walking her two corgis, playing and watching tennis, skiing, and supporting Philly sports teams.
