Meet Dr. Kathy Byun
Dr. Byun is a board certified radiologist who is also fellowship trained and certified in Nuclear Medicine. She started her professional career with Medical Center Radiologists (MCR) in 2006, where she enjoys her practice mix of nuclear medicine, PET/CT, bone densitometry and general radiology.
Dr. Byun is actively involved with the technical aspects of the nuclear medicine and PET departments, helping to bring cutting edge studies to the Hampton Roads area. She is also proud to participate with the Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) radiology residency program and to serve as the EVMS fourth year medical student radiology clerkship director.
