Meet Dr. Sarah Shaves
Dr. Shaves is the current Associate Program Director of the Radiology Residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS). A recognized expert in Body Imaging, Dr. Shaves enjoys the process of teaching, curriculum development and research at the graduate and postgraduate level. While having multiple job offers when relocating to Hampton Roads, Dr. Shaves specifically chose Medical Center Radiologists, the only area radiology group teaching trainees and providing the highest quality imaging and procedural care for patients.
Dr. Shaves’ expertise and accomplishments have been recognized in the way of induction as a Fellow of the American College of Radiology and multiyear award winner as a Coastal Virginia Magazine “Top Doc.”
In her free time, Dr. Shaves enjoys traveling with her husband, working in her garden, and playing with her kitties.
