Meet Dr. Susan McKenzie
Dr. Susan McKenzie’s passion is Breast Radiology and she strives to provide a comforting, non stressful visit at our breast centers for all patients. She has called Tidewater Virginia home for nearly her entire life (minus 4 years). She enjoys ODU football, a lazy day on the beach, sunsets, hikes at First Landing State Park, and evening strolls down the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. You might find her on her front porch swing during thunderstorms, nor’easters, and on dusky evenings when there are lots of lightning bugs about. She has been known to coax her husband, two daughters, and dog from sleep to go outside for the 2 am meteor shower or snowstorm. A good book, especially a mystery, will keep her occupied for days as will an arts and craft project such as glass painting. Her family tolerates her seasonal indoor decorating with grace.
