Meet Dr. Zeal Patel
Dr. Zeal Patel is a highly trained board certified radiologist. He enjoys all aspects of the diverse field of radiology including Mammography, Body, and Musculoskeletal Imaging. Dr. Patel is fellowship trained in Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, and Breast MRI with a special interest in the diagnosis and management of benign and malignant breast disease. He performs interventional breast procedures, including ductograms, biopsies and localizations by stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI image guidance.
An Old Dominion University Kaufman scholar, Dr. Patel went on to complete his medical training at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS), graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honors. He is passionate about providing a comforting environment for patients and has been honored with a Service Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Hampton Roads Community.
Dr. Patel thoroughly enjoys working closely with his amazing colleagues, remarkably hard working technologists and the highly skilled breast surgeons in the Hamptons Roads area. He also relishes the privilege of training residents and fellows that follow him, and looks forward to continuing that role.
Outside of work, Dr. Patel loves to travel and spend time with his wonderful family.
